The Block kids' bedroom

The cabinetry in Lisa and Rosco's kids' bedroom on The Block 2026, which went to air in week 9. Two pieces, both in Polytec Blonde Oak Woodmatt: a reading nook and a wardrobe.

The nook is an arch set into a full-height panel, deep enough for a kid to climb into and curl up. The seat sits on a pair of drawers, so the space under it isn't wasted. The wall at the back is a Grafico mural, and the arch frames it like a window.

The wardrobe runs alongside in the same oak. Inside there's lighting along the top, so it isn't a dark cupboard to rummage in, a hanging rail, a shelf, and a bank of drawers next to open shelves. Plenty of room for it to keep working as the clothes get bigger. The judges singled out that internal layout.
